We have purchased a 5 MW solar PV project located in Victoria from Green Gold Energy Pty. Ltd., a solar PV developer based in Australia. We have entered into an EPC contract for this project, which is in the ready-to-build phase and has already begun construction.
Investment Highlights
The wholesale electricity market in Australia has been liberalized for over 20 years, and the government has introduced certificates for fossil-free electricity generation. With numerous successful business cases in Australia, we believe that the experience gained from these investments can be applied to our future business activities in Japan.
Future Actions
While monitoring market trends for new investment opportunities in Australia, we are assessing from a capital recycling perspective the most effective structures to deliver investment opportunities to both domestic and international investors.
