Mitsuru has been Senior Executive Managing Director since April 2019.
Prior to joining DEI, Mitsuru has 30 years of corporate finance and advisory experience, including 16 years with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and 14 years with Daiwa Securities where his primary role was advising clients pursuing cross-border M&A and domestic transactions. He held managerial positions at the Strategic Advisory Department of Daiwa Securities and advised on over 50 transactions.
Mitsuru holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science & economics from Waseda University. He is also a chartered member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
