Masahiro has been Chairman of Daiwa Energy & Infrastructure since April 2023. He also serves as Chairman of Daiwa Investment Management, Daiwa Corporate Investment and Daiwa PI Partners.
Masahiro joined Daiwa Securities in 1986. He held a succession of executive positions at Daiwa Securities SMBC including Head of Capital Solutions and Head of Corporate Planning Dept. before he became Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Investment Banking Division (GIB) in Daiwa Securities in 2011; Senior Executive Managing Director, Member of the Board, Head of GIB in 2020; and Deputy President in 2022. He also served as Deputy President of Daiwa Securities Group in 2022.
Masahiro holds a Bachelor of Science and Technology degree from Kwansei Gakuin University.
